The great ball of heat is in the sky again! It was rumoured to exist on weekends, just seldom witnessed.
Taking advantage of the good weather I headed to Llanddeusant to photograph the Red Kites.
Apparently there used to be just 50 breeding pairs of Red Kites in the area years ago and now with the help of the Red Kite Feeding Station there are over 300 breeding pairs. This was the second time I’ve been able to get out with the new lens, Sigma 150-600C, and it was great fun trying to keep up with the birds diving. I was there for about an hour and my arms started to tire out using this gigantic lens.
