Did my good deed for the weekend by covering a charity event at the gym.  The Funky Pump group organised a back-to-back-to-back session in order to raise money towards Parkinsons UK, and of course it was in Superhero fancy dress!

This was the first time I’ve seen a Funky Pump session never mind photographing one.  The light conditions were very tricky as it resembled more of a nightclub than a gym hall, they even had a DJ.  I had troubles getting focus and had to bin quite a few shots that compositionally looked good.  I suppose if I had an assistant I could have played with off camera flash to pick people out across the room, but I had to make do with just bouncing the flash.
